Prepare For A Snorkeling Adventure With Cabo San Lucas Transportation

October 5, 2016

Whether your plans for your trip to Cabo San Lucas include the whole family or a solo adventure, there’s one activity you can’t miss while you’re here: snorkeling! Coordinate this fun adventure with your Cabo San Lucas transportation service and then get yourself prepared with these tips:

What do you do during the Snorkel and Sea adventure?

Ask your Cabo San Lucas transportation service to book a Snorkel and Sea adventure for your party and you won’t regret it. This is the only snorkeling excursion in the area that combines power snorkeling, stand up paddle boarding, kayaking and a high speed boat ride.

The adventure takes place in the waters that famed ocean explorer Jacques Cousteau once referred to as “the world’s aquarium” because of the diverse wildlife. During the three hours trip, you will be surrounded by brightly colored and exotic marine life, calm waters, and beautiful sunshine. After your exhilarating journey is over, we promise that you will won’t be able to wait to share your story with friends and family back home!

Who is allowed to go snorkeling?
Unfortunately, children under the age of five years old are not allowed to snorkel, and children between the ages of five and fourteen must be accompanied by an adult. If you have small children in your party and don’t want to exclude them, talk to your Cabo San Lucas transportation service about other fun activities you can do with them.

What should you bring?
It’s best to come in your swimwear, but if you aren’t wearing it, don’t forget to bring it with you along with a change of clothes for afterwards and non-slip shoes. Even if it’s not sunny outside, you should bring sunscreen along to prevent getting sunburned, it can happen even if it’s not sunny out. Finally, if you want these memories to truly last a lifetime, don’t forget your camera! Your friends and family will love to see pictures from your trip.

What safety tips should you be familiar with?
You don’t have to be an experienced snorkeler to enjoy this adventure with your Cabo San Lucas transportation provider. But, if you’ve never snorkeled before remember these safety tips:

  • Never go alone.
  • When you’re underwater, don’t touch the marine life. Not only does it disturb them, but they could also hurt you if they feel threatened.
  • Be prepared for sudden waves and always be aware of your surroundings.
  • If you’re not a great swimmer, there’s no shame in bringing a floatation device to help you feel more comfortable. Snorkeling can wear you out fairly quickly, so a floatation device is a great way to catch your breath without getting out of the water.

Los Cabos Transportation Experts Reveal Tips For Swimming With Dolphins

September 21, 2016

Planning a trip to Cabo San Lucas? It’s a guarantee you will experience new and exciting adventures while on your trip, so it’s best to prepare with a little help from the Los Cabos transportation experts. One of the most popular activities here in Cabo San Lucas is getting up close and personal with dolphins. Visitors can either stand on the sidelines and learn about dolphins, or jump right in the water and swim with them. If you plan on doing the latter, here’s what you need to know:

Listen carefully.
Dolphin trainers will be with you every step of the way if you choose to swim with these majestic creatures, so listen carefully to what they have to say. These trainers know dolphins better than anyone, so they will be able to guide you through the activity and ensure you and the dolphins are safe at all times. Don’t be afraid to ask questions as they pop up, either. Trainers are used to tourists being curious about dolphins and nervous about swimming with them, so they definitely will expect your questions.

Only wear a swimsuit.

Your Los Cabos transportation service may remind you to remove all jewelry, hats or electronic devices before swimming with the dolphins. Why? Dolphins have very sensitive skin, so if you wear anything besides a swimsuit, you are putting them at risk of being scratched or injured by these items. You should also try to avoid wearing perfumes, body lotions or any other kind of chemicals that could irritate their skin. If you’re unsure of whether you should take something off or not, don’t hesitate to ask the dolphin trainer.

Stay calm.
Dolphins aren’t usually aggressive towards humans, so if you hear your trainer telling you to stay calm, that’s not because you’re about to be attacked. Dolphins are very intuitive, so they can sense how you are feeling while you’re nearby. If you’re calm, they will feel more comfortable getting close to you, so you will have a better experience overall. But, if you panic, they may swim away and be wary of returning. Learn more about how dolphins perceive the world.

Mimic them.
Humans and dolphins swim quite differently, and dolphins may be scared away if you start to splash around and move your arms in a circular, swimming motion. If you do need to travel through the water, mimic how they swim. Keep your arms down and close to your body, relying on your legs to power you through the water. This will make them feel more comfortable in your presence so you will have a better experience on your adventure.

Ready to swim with the dolphins? The first step is booking your Cabo airport shuttle! Sail Into the Sunset with Los Cabos Transportation

September 7, 2016

There is nothing more beautiful than watching a gorgeous sunset, especially when you are on a boat in Cabos San Lucas surrounded by your friends or family. Does this sound like a dream? It can become a reality with a little help from the Los Cabos transportation company, Cabo Pacific Tours. Here are a few things you should know about the sunset sailing adventure:

Food & Drink
Once Los Cabos transportation has brought you to the charter to begin your adventure, climb aboard and make yourself right at home. Fine wine, gourmet food and a top-shelf open bar are provided to all guests on the charter. Start the evening off with a toast to each other and the incredible scenery around you. Then, dive into the delectable treats that were brought aboard just for your party!

Plan Accordingly
Be sure to plan your sailing trip ahead of time to ensure that you can reserve one of the spots. These trips are offered on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, and the entire trip will take about two and a half hours. However, the exact time that the boat sets sail will depend on the weather conditions, so be sure to stay in touch with your Los Cabos transportation to make sure you get there in time. If you have any guests with you who are under the age of 18, unfortunately, they will not be able to participate in the sunset sailing adventure. Be sure to plan another fun activity that these guests can enjoy while the rest of your party heads off into the sunset.

What to Bring
Check the weather forecast ahead of time and dress appropriately to stay warm during the winter months and cool during the summer months. You will be asked to remove footwear before stepping onto the boat, so don’t worry too much about whether your shoes match the rest of your outfit. Don’t forget to bring your camera! There are endless opportunities for photos on the sunset cruise, so be sure to bring a camera so you can document this incredible trip and remember it forever.

Where it Goes
Where exactly does this boat take you? The boat will first take you right alongside the shoreline towards the old lighthouse. Here, you will see an extraordinary mix of colors as the oranges and yellows of the sunset blend together with the greens and browns of the desert landscape. Then, your party will sail around the tip of the Baja, El Arco and Lover’s Beach, where you can embrace your significant other and soak up the intimacy of this unforgettable moment.

How to Plan A Group Getaway With Cabo San Lucas Transportation Services

August 24, 2016

Planning a group getaway can be incredibly stressful. After arranging everyone’s flights and figuring out how your huge group is going to get around once you land, you will have definitely earned your vacation. Luckily, there are Cabo San Lucas transportation services available to groups that will make getting to and from everything on your itinerary much easier. Here are tips for planning a group getaway with these services:

Ask for advice.
When you reserve your Cabo San Lucas transportation, be sure to ask for advice on activities you should try, local markets you should visit and authentic restaurants to enjoy after a long day in the sun. Cabo Pacific Tours will be able to give you better guidance on these subjects than anyone else, so use our knowledge to your advantage.

Arrange for a grocery shopping stop.

Besides chauffeuring you to different fun activities, Cabo San Lucas transportation will also take you directly to a local grocery store if you reserve this service ahead of time. After a long day out in Cabo, you’ll be grateful to have a few snacks to munch on once you get back to your hotel. Plus, visiting local grocery stores will help you see the different foods that are offered in this exotic location so you can absorb some of the local culture.

Reserve multiple vehicles.

Cabo San Lucas transportation services can usually fit up to twelve people in their largest vehicles. If there are less than twelve people in your group, it may be wise to reserve multiple vehicles during the day anyways. This way, you can have each vehicle scheduled to go to a different activity in Cabo San Lucas so the people in your group have more options of how to fill their time. For example, one vehicle can take your guests snorkeling or swimming with the dolphins while the other vehicle stays on shore for a fun day of ziplining.

Confirm times.
Before you get on the plane to start your exotic adventure, speak directly with a representative from the Cabos San Lucas transportation service you will be traveling with. Go over the days and times of each of your planned activities and make sure you have agreed upon what time the vehicle should pick you up from the hotel and when you should be done with your activity. It may be helpful to jot down notes during this conversation and then create an itinerary to hand out to everyone on your trip. Keeping track of everyone will be difficult once you’re having fun, so make sure everyone knows the schedule in advance.

Want to Fly Like Ironman? Cabo Pacific Tours' Guide to Flyboarding in Cabo San Lucas

August 10, 2016

A FlyBoard is an accessory that attaches to the jet discharge of a Personal Watercraft (PWC) and uses the jet discharge of the PWC to propel the device through the air and water. The FlyBoard was first developed in 2011 by French Jet Ski racer Franky Zapata. Since then, it has taken the watersports world by storm.  So are you ready to try the coolest and most exciting water sport adventure ever? At Cabo Pacific Tours, we can have you up and flying in no time. Flyboarding is easy to learn and really fun right from the start. Our instructors are professionally trained and have one goal: to make sure you have a fun and safe time.

Using a set of patented adapters, inventor Franky Zapata of "Zapata Racing," turned an ordinary watercraft into a water sports sensation. The FlyBoard is connected to the PWC by a 55-foot long, 4” diameter fire hose that can propel the pilot/rider over 35 feet above or below the surface of the water. Almost any able-bodied person can do it and the more you fly the better you become.

The FlyBoard itself has its own buoyancy and floats on the water, so that you can relax safely in the water during breaks, or before and after takeoff. To get you up and flying, all of the thrust developed from the PWC is routed through the hose, so the PWC just follows behind you, giving you the freedom to accomplish 3D flight – which means you can fly over the water, under the water, and have complete freedom to fly freestyle without the risk of getting hurt.

FlyBoarding is much softer than wakeboarding, tubing or other watersports, so you get the most fun possible without the high speed tumbles. Considering the many safety features, research, and instructor training put into FlyBoarding, we can assure you that the FlyBoard is very safe, fast, and easy to use. Learning to operate the FlyBoard is much easier and intuitive than you might think. Once you have applied the instructions given to you, anyone can FlyBoard within the first 5-10 minutes in the water.

Cabo Pacific Tours offers Flyboarding adventures Monday through Friday. The trip includes bottled water, professional instruction, all the gear you'll need, and a fresh fruit snake. You will want to bring a change of clothes, a secure swimsuit, a sunhat, sunscreen, towel, and money for souvenir photos taken of you during the fun. You must be at least 12 years old to participate, and the maximum weight allowed is 250 lbs. (113 Kg).

Transportation and Flyboarding in Los Cabos has never been easier, more hassle-free, or as inclusive as that you'll experience with Cabo San Lucas Transportation. Contact us now to get more info and to secure your Los Cabos Flyboarding experience, transportation booking, and allow us to help plan your next watersport vacation. You can call us at 52 624 1426282 and toll free at 312-450-3191.
